The sun was just breaking through the clouds on a lovely evening at The Orchard by Wedgewood Weddings in Manifee. The venue was dressed in all its finery, ready to play host to one of the most heartwarming ceremonies I’ve had the pleasure of photographing. Yes, it was the day Joan and Matt decided to tie the knot.

 

The Orchard, with its stunning landscapes and serene ambiance, was the perfect setting for this beautiful couple. The rustic charm of the venue, with its lush green foliage, was the backdrop everyone dreams of for their wedding. The soft, golden lighting of the venue made it a photographer’s delight, allowing me to capture some truly magical moments.

 

As a photographer, I was prepared to capture the essence of the day, the joy, the laughter, the tears and the sheer happiness that was palpable in the air. However, what I wasn’t prepared for was the overwhelming love between Joan and Matt that would make this day so special.

The ceremony was undoubtedly the best part of the day. Jeff the officiant did an amazing job. It was simple, intimate, and brimming with emotions. The heartfelt vows, the exchange of rings, the first kiss as a married couple, every moment was a testament to their enduring love.

 

The joyous celebration that followed the ceremony was filled with laughter, dancing, and plenty of unforgettable moments. The couple’s first dance, the cutting of the cake, the warm speeches by the best man and maid of honor, every moment was a celebration of Joan and Matt’s love.

 

As a photographer, my #1 goal is always to capture the essence of the day in a way that will allow the couple to relive their special day, each time they look at the photographs.
